Top Food Denver

Project Duration | October 2021 – Ongoing

Roles | Account Administrator, Photographer, Copywriter

Tools | Snapseed, Adobe Photoshop

Project Vision

Top Food Denver is an Instagram account showcasing local dining in the Denver area. The account provides a one-stop-shop for real images from customers, instead of having to search through reviews of restaurants one by one. The account serves Denver and Colorado locals as well as tourists seeking recommendations.

Challenges

  1. Looking for dining options on other media platforms is usually organized by restaurant, so only 1 can be viewed at a time.
  2. Denver is a fast growing city, making it difficult to sort through the oversaturated market of dining options and food-centric social media accounts.

Takeaways

Next Steps

  • Create highlight sections organized by area, cuisine, and more
  • Collaborate with local businesses to feature limited time offers, plan joint events, and more
  • Begin “Small Business Saturday” series where followers can expect a non-food small business to be featured every Saturday
